Travel Info Anyone stayed at the Don Pancho in Benidorm lately? I haven't been there for years.? Travel Tips <the don pancho is ok its on the main road just behind the beach,If i can suggest to you a very nice hotel called the Cimbal its 10 paces to the beach and very reasonably priced,ihave stayed there twice and found it to be excellent, the Don Pancho is a little overpriced i feel. Others Its supposed to be alright but check out www. holidaytruths.com. I like the pub downstairs, Phil the clown for the sprogs. Great. My favourite hotel there is the Sol Pelicanos/Ocas which unfortunately is being used in the Johnny Vegas programme, just the pool area and foyer. The rooms are from a crummy B+B place next door. Doesn't give a good impression, but I've always found it really nice. Great pools. Benidorm - i went there about 8 or 9 years ago and I will NEVER return. It wasn't even Spain. It's an embarrassment to England. |
