Travel Info Anyone know a good B&B in Barcelona near the beach? I'm taking a 7yr old.? Travel Tips I live in Barcelona but i don't know what is a B&B. If you write back, then maybe i can help you. Others Well if you're going with a kid the best thing to do is to go to Sitges, great beaches and close accommodation . Barcelona beach is not the best place for a kid you need to have an eye on your stuff all the time and beside that the sand it's really dirty ...I'm from Barcelona. In the other side , Sitges is a great place to go with a kid and it's only 40 minutes from downtown Barcelona with the train . If you still want to go to BCN the closest Bed and Breakfast to the beach are the ones in Ramblas , 10 minutes with the bus to the beach, Barceloneta. Most visitors stay in or near the Ramblas or in the Gothic Quarter just to the east. This is a good base from where you can explore the city's sights by day including Gaudi's masterpiece, the unfinished Sagrada Fam铆lia Cathedral, and Parc G眉ell in the north.
