Can you legally drink on the streets or beach in Spain (Madrid/Barcelona)? |
Travel Info I don't mean walking around and being a prick and out of control drunk but just sipping on a beer or glass of wine. Travel Tips Well considering that most towns and cities in Spain have sidewalk cafes and bars yes. Now if you get a case of beer and go sit on a park bench they will most likely tell you to move along. I have spent a few nights on the beach with female companionship and a bottle of wine or bubbly and never had a problem. I think it all depends on how you are controlling yourself and how much you are drinking.
