One of the many boards for travellers - Travellerspoint is one here: http://www.travellerspoint.com The other has been suggested by a good contributor , but an extra tip is to sort the results on the page with the filter to get the best price, location and offer [ if you do last minute bookings ] and you'll also identify the most popular hostals [ hostels ] that folks stay at. Cheapest - but not as much fun is: http://www.cheaperthanhotels.com/spain/b... but i saw some prices with breakfast for 19 euro or was i dreaming :) In Barcelona I stayed in Gothic Point Hostel on C/ Vigatans, 5 and I met tonnes of people and had a great time. Because the rooms are large and shared ie many rooms are 12 people, you have many chances to meet many people. If you sleep light though you might not perhaps like this hostel. ie you meet many people but it can be noisy. That you can find on http://www.hostels.com .
