Aupair, Spain, visas..? |
Travel Info Hi, I've read that a non EU citizen is legally authorized to stay in Spain for no longer than 3 months per semester with no need of a visa. I've also been told that if that person which has no visa wants to stay for longer than 3 months, they can leave and re-enter Spain for example each 2 months and their "permit" is renewed.. Is there a way in which people can know the exact dates and times you have been on the country? Or is it really possible to stay in Spain for about 5 months as long as you leave and go back regularly? Thanks! This is because I'm going to work as an aupair starting next week, and getting an aupair visa is very complicated and it takes a long time here. Travel Tips hi its me again, ive been suspended, so if you liked my answer (the one above) can you please tick me for best answer, as the other account is now shut. i was nearly at level 4 and theyve ban me for no reason i can find............................. i hoped my answer helped Others What your sugesting basically, is possible, but its not really legal. if you stay in spain for longer than 3 months then u need to become a resident, i think there are some problems with in spain at the moment, i became a resident nearly 20 yrs ago, and do not remember it being a big problem, but since i was only 4 it doesnt mean that it wasnt. from what your saying you basically want to go to spain and work cash in hand as an au pair. u will not be entiled to spanish medical care, because you will not have paid anything into the spanish system, if you working legally this would be taken out your wages as taxes etc.... i dont think there is anyway anyone can track how long you have been in the country, as there are thousands of people in spain, that are non residents that live there..... i dont think its very fair though, if you do do this, as it takes away work from legitamate workers...who will be paying back into the spanish system. i think you should get your visas sorted out before you go, as if you do get caught, there may be severe consequences for your actions, remember the spanish police do things there own way, diffrently to many other countries.... |
