Others
yes they take all credit cards
Yes, all the major credit cards are accepted but I would take some euros with you or get some changed once you arrive ( but not at the airport ) as not all restaurants, shops and some supermarkets like lidl have the facility to accept them.
Anna
Yes most of the shops accept credit cards but in some supermarkets or shops they may ask for a minimum amount to pay with credit card due to the comissions the banks charge them.
For small amounts is better to have some cash.
I'm Spanish
Yeah, i agree with all of the above, Most places take visa or credit cards, But not all, so you will want to have some cash for the odd times. Also, you may have to pay a minimum amount to be able to pay with your card, as you do in most pubs in the uk, u have to spend at least 5-8 quid to pay by card.
The one thing no one above mentioned, is that you MUST provide Id (passport or drivers license) when paying buy card, they will ask you everytime!....youm must carry your id, if your going to be paying by card. you are meant to carry id with you in spain anyway.
hope this helps, :-)
Yes you will be OK
