Travel Info Has any one ever stayed in teh flamingo oasis in benidorm im of on 5 may wit my 4 yr old? Travel Tips Hello there and well done for chosing what I consider to be the best hotel in Benidorm! Firstly let me say, that personally, I did not like Benidorm at all, but if you're going to go, the The Flamingo Oasis is the very best hotel you can go to, especially for a family. Usually, FO is sold by Thomson or Thomas Cook in the UK on a regular package, but Globespan and some other independants do it as well. It can sometimes be bought cheaper independantdly (ie flts, hotel & transfers all seperate) With a wee one of 4 it's absolutley perfect. Yes she can go to the evening entertainment- Usually they have a mini disco in the evening before the bingo but all the kids stay for the other stuff too- you'll not have any problems with that at all. This hotel is always full of families with kids- the hotel is very very family orientated. Its a lovely hotel, the pool area is particularly lovely and the rooms are very nice too. Actually I quite liked it's location- quiet at night but not too far away from the flat area of the new town called Levante that everyone loves so much. I sold this hotel countless numbers of times as a travel agent, and unless things have changed dramatically since the end of last year which I very much doubt, I can assure you that you'll love it. The amount of repeat bookings this hotel gets is tremendous, the vast majority of people who go go again- they just get hooked! That tells you something right away, people just don't go back to a hotel they don't like. If there are any complaints, it's generally from those who've never been to Benidorm and when they get there, they hate it- just like I did, so nothing would please them anyway but so many people love it, I can't knock it, it just wasn't for me. Its not a cheap holiday- in fact it's ridiculously expensive! 2 weeks in high summer costs around the same as 2 weeks in the Carribean, but there are many people who love it and will pay the money. Here are some reviews for you- take a look and I hope you have a great holiday. All the very best of luck! http://www.tripadvisor.com/hotel_review-... http://www.holidaywatchdog.com/3031-beni... Oh... Heres a link to a video too... http://www.holidays-captured.co.uk/hotel... Cheers! Others yeah its brill, great value, very nice.. enjoy it... yes its nice but the people were a bit snobby yeah it was a great hotel an great holiday. My brother in law was a Thompson holiday rep there 2 years ago (now works for abbey national) He thought it was the best hotel and facilities he had worked at. He was a rep for 6 years. Hope this helps |
