Maybe you could contact the adoption agency to see if you can either find out your mother's contact details (which is unlikely - I would imagine that there are confidentiality rules concerning information like that), or ask them to pass on a letter or something to let her know you want to get in touch. Failing that, if you're sure she's living in Madrid, you could try to write to the local newspaper in that area to see if they could print something for you to let your mother know you'd like to contact her.
