Travel Tips I would suggest that the easiest way would be to go through one of the organized trips. The telephone number is (0034) 667 413 359. There are pick-up points all along the coast and it will cost you 12 euros. Once there, there are numerous special taxis which will take you up the rock for 16.50 euros Anna Others Yes. Take a tour bus. If you wanna go in your own car better park it in the parking outside. dont try to park it in the town of gibraltar, is very small and the streets are so narrow and is imposible to find a place to park your car. Gibraltar Espa帽ol My own experience, last year I tried to parked it inside and im still looking for a place,,, If you want to go by yourself (i.e. without a tour group), take the bus from Marbella to Algeciras. From the bus station in Algeciras, take a bus to La Linea (buses leave every half hour or so and the ride is perhaps 40 minutes. Note that you don't buy tickets at the window for the bus to La Linea; you just pay as you board). Walk out of the bus station at La Linea, look up, and you'll see the rock of Gibraltar right there. Walk through customs and you'll be in Gibraltar. I find this website helpful for booking bus tickets in Spain. http://www.movelia.es It is available in English and is easy to use. Even if you don't end up booking your tickets online, it is helpful to view time schedules, availabillity, and prices. I took the same route last summer. |
