Travel Info Anyone been to vil.la romana hotel in salou ? Travel Tips I have stayed there, and since 2005 I've been in it twice on a travel agents inspection visit and I've sold it many times over the last few years since it was built. When this hotel first opened a couple of years ago, it was considered one of the best in the area. In 2005 it was still very very good, but if I'm honest, the standards did slip slightly in 2006 although I still think it's one of the best there is in the area and I would definitely stay here myself I have checked the latest reviews for you and the vast majority are very positive. There are one or two niggles, mainly about the "noisy entertainment" but who goes on holiday to be in bed by 9pm??!! The hotel is very clean, quite luxurious by Spanish standards and the rooms are lovely with air con. I liked the food, it was varied, well cooked and very well presented. I also thought the service was excellent. The pool area is also very nice with a lagoon shaped pool and a large terrace with loungers. If you can, try to request a pool view room.
