Now to get back to your question, I have helped someone when they bought a bar in La Marina (near Elche) and to be honest just make sure that they have all the necessarylicenses in order b4 you commit. It can b an expensive and long drawn out process aquirying them. You will need all the licenses in your own name anyway, so get a good lawyer (pref Spanish who speaks English) and don't put down more than 3000e deposit initially.
