I am going to Torrevieja in July for 2 weeks, can anyone tell me good bars/tapas/authentic restuarants/places?

Iv'e never beeen there but we have free use of an apartment so have decided to go there. I'm a abit worried that the area will be a 18-30's type place with 'fish and chips' and english pubs everywhere, i want to go where the spanish go, if you see what i mean! Any ideas? ta

The area is a mix of all aged people, Where abouts in Torre are you staying? Are you hiring a car etc

I have lived in Playa flamenca La Florida and now Villamartin for the last two years therefore I am aware that there are lots of british places but the true spain is here definately best of both worlds something to suit everyone, although car hire is beneficial. Feel free to email me.
