Spanish Pesetas ! I have 6000 pesetas from a holiday in Spain during 1990. Do they have value ? |
Travel Info I was on holiday in mainland Spain many years ago and still have some old pesetas from that holiday. Obviously Spain now uses Euros. Do my pesetas still have any value...and if so, what are they worth in todays euro currency ? Travel Tips Now it would be 36鈧? You can change it in Spain but not in a average bank. You have to go to el Banco de Espa帽a, that's run by the state, and there you can change it. Source(s): Last month I changed 10,000 pesetas and now I have 60鈧? Other Travel Tips 6,000 Pesetas are roughly 30 Euros or 25$ That is about the fee you have to pay for changing them, but you will not find a place who takes it anymore. Travel Spain at the moment No sorry they no longer have value... And they won麓t trade them for euros... Take care.. Bcn_mimosa from Barcelona, spain You would have to take them to a spanish bank but they are no longer required to accept them. If they will accept them they are worth roughly 鈧?3 In a word,NO, I have a few also (and I live in Spain ) that I cannot exchange. The director of my bank can't even help me,and he is a friend of mine.Hang onto them though,Spain may go back to using them one of these days.Who knows.? |
