Do you know any good nude beaches in Barcelona? |
Travel Info I am going to Spain this summer, and I'll be in Barcelona. I want to visit a nude beach while I'm there. Does anyone know of any good beaches that allow nudity. I'd rather have a beach that is officially nude of clothing-optional, but beaches that are unofficially so, that is many people are nude despite the official rules, are fine also. Thank you. Travel Tips Mar Bella beach is the semi-official nude beach IN Barcelona. I spent a week staying just a few hundred meters from the beach. It is a long sandy beach backed by a small hill which was probably originally supposed to shield the nude beach from the near by boardwalk. Interestingly, the nude portion of the beach has grown beyond the hill and now takes up more than half of the overall length of the beach. You'll see all types there from old people in the morning to office workers on lunch break to gay couples in the afternoon. On the weekend the beach is packed solid with a fully mixed compliment of people. You'll love it. Other Travel Tips There is a place south of barca called STIGES which is predominetly gay but further along there are nudes. There are several. In Spain nudism is called Naturismo... Go to: www.naturismo.com for the listings (the page is in catalan, but the names are the same in any language) Sitges is by far the best place. There are various beaches for everyone and even for 'normal' people. The gay beach is the furthest away one and easily avoided. |
