Does spain hav the same electrical outlets as us? |
Travel Info because im going to spain this summer and i want to bring my ipod and my wall charger/speaker. will i be able to plug it in there? Travel Tips The mains plugs and sockets are different from the US. WARNING! The voltage in Spain is 220 volts; the US uses 110 volts. So if you plug in your hairdryer with an adaptor there is a big bang and a cloud of smoke! I don't know what an ipod would do. You can buy a 220 volt to 110 volt transformer and adaptor in the States before you go. They should have them at international Airport shops.............but. Better buy a charger for your ipod when you get to Spain. Enjoy your trip! Source(s): Watched American with a hairdryer! Other Travel Tips Yes You may need to have an adaptor to fit in the wall sockets there. You need to make sure that your charger is 90 to 240 v. that way it will work in all countries. You can but them at any stors that sells electronics. whos us , if you mean america then no they have differant plugs , you can buy coverters over there for cheap so dont worry sorry to say it, but no. You can easily buy an adapter though. Have fun in Spain! Buena Suerte!!!!!! NO. The prongs on the plug are round in Spain (they are flat in the U.S.). Try to go to some stores that sell plugs from different countries and you can buy it there. |
