Travel Info A good place to go for a scuba diving holiday in spain and say the website? Travel Tips Hi well it depends of where you want to go. I put below some links to places that are either great for their submatine scapes and richness and also for their natural beauty. Some of this are considere National parks or reservations but you can Scubadive and also can stay in hotels, apartments and take courses and scuba trips there. The order has nothing to do with the quality or prefernces: In Ibiza you can scuba dive, beautifull transparent and quite warm water. Sightseing, Great place to party too. http://www.ibiza-diving.com/ http://www.seahorsedivingibiza.com/... In the Isdland of menorca you will find same conditions as in Ibiza just more calm Isdland and more familiar cultutrral and other attractions. Beautiful Island too. http://www.menorcatech.com/ Here are two sites fro scuba diving in Galicia the water is colder but the place are gr4rat and the landscapes and fauna below and above water unique. Cies is a national parck that protect sevral atlantic islands of the coast of calicia. Celtic culture, sightseing and sea food you will not believe. Second one also has scuba diving trips to Cies Islands. http://youtube.com/watch?v=xvj6kfyv0wo... http://www.costadiving.com/ This take to site ion Costa Brava, great place, elegant, beautifull, near france and pyryness: Beautifull warm waters and Culture too. http://www.funtastic-emporda.com/divingf... Scuba diving in Tnerife is one of the best. The atlantic underwater fauna is unique and the water clear and colder than meditterranean. The island is beautifull and has incredible landscapes as well as culture and great place to visit. Very easy to do everything related to tourism. http://www.tenerifedive.com/ The Island of la Palma is incredible. There is not much tourism and you can find completelly differnt microclimates and hence species underwater and above water. The sights are impressive and its only half hour ferry ride from Tenerife, more tranquil than Tenerife yet less activities. But great anyway. http://www.scuba-diving-la-palma.de/... Next link will take you to a site in Cabo the Gata, the most oriental point in continental spain and is a National park with incredible natural resources specially marine. Great underwater sites, fauna, and beautifull overall with the advantages of being in the continent. Has veryiontersting places and accomodations, cultural and historical sight seing. This is the last link but not the least! http://blog.niumba.com/elsewhere/scuba-d... Been in all these places, I am Spanish and have chosen what I consider some of the most beautiful places in Spain as well as those that have unique and great scuba diving conditions, fauna and underwater sights. Other attractions where also a plus but main consideration wa sthe scuba diving. Hope it helps Santiago Others canary islands http://www.gran-canaria-diving.com/... Have a look at at 'Islas Medas' on Yahoo. It is probably the best dive site on the Med. It is north of Barcelona and near Girona Airport. Friend went. Hi, bit difficult really, because I don't want to promote people I know. However, when I first moved to Spain I lived in Moraira on the Costa Blanca. I made friends with Coby and Edna at the Mermaid Diving Centre. They are PADI qualified and gave me and my friends a great service. If you are not looking for wild party evenings as well, then Moraira is just a great place. Still a smallish fishing village, no drunks, disco's etc etc. If you are looking for wild parties in the evenings, then somewhere else will be better. LOL Website below, see for yourself. There are so many places to go in Spain. This is one I know so can recommend. Wherever you go, enjoy www.mermaid-diving.com |
