Travel Info Is october good time to visit switzerland from india? Travel Tips Hi there, October (Autum) can be a very nice time to visit Switzerland. You will see the changing of colours on the trees, leaves falling and the snow comming back into the high mountains, with the valleys still safe of snow. I have seen wonderful autums here, with loads of sun, but surely not that warm anymore, so be prepared to take some warmer clothes. Weather can change at any time and at any season here, we just had temparatures in the high 80th in Switzerland end of July and beginning of August it dropped to 60 degrees and rain. Depending on the area you want to go, would I avoid December and January, which can be very cold, but not much snow yet and very dark. Ina Others I dont know, but switzerland sounds like a nice romantic vacation... yes ofcourse I don't think so since it will be very less daylight and would be quite freezing. Ideal is summers where you have longer daylight and an awesome waether. An while you are at Switzerland, don't miss Scotland. forget the swiss alps.......... go to Kulu or Darjeeling instead........ Half the price - double the fun switzerland beutiful counrty,any seasons visit to switzerland, green & clean country. Jolly good idea. But take lots of wollies. |
