Travel Info Can the euro be used in switzerland? Travel Tips Yes, in most hotels and big shops the euro will be accepted, but any change will be given in Swiss francs. Source(s): I live here. Other Travel Tips yes you may , but i would not ,since you will not be able to use your money given in Switzerland anywhere else ........ and you will loose in the exchange as well .... yes in some places, but not all. Its usually not a problem though. You may get hit on rate though... |
