Car or Train to Jungfraujoch in Swiss? plnning a trip to Swiss's Jungfrau, but confused about which 1 is bettr

Travel Info
I am planning a day trip to Interlaken and Jungfraujoch in Swiss. The interlaken region.

Is it possible to see these "World top" and "most-beutiful" places by going there in a car?? Is it a good idea?

- Car or Train ? which one will be better?

I will go to Interlaken by Car!!
I like to see the beauty of nature... tourist points...

I would highly appreciate if somebody likes to share
his experiences.

Travel Tips
It's true that the only way to get to Jungfraujoch is by the gear train. However it'll be a good idea to drive to Interlaken because there're beautiful lakes. You can take the train right from Interlaken (the town is about 15min walk east to west), and need to make a couple connections to the top. Unlike in US, it's so easy to travel by train in Europe. I remember it takes about 2.5 hours each way from interlaken to Jungfraujoch.

By the way, be sure to check the weather on the day you plan to go up--if it's snowing or cloudy, you won't see anything on the top, and it's totally not worth the money. What I'd recommend is to plan a few days in interlaken and wait for a clear day to go up. If the weather's bad, you can easily visit other cities--the entire Switzerland is pretty much within 3 hours by train.

the Jungfraujoch by car????????? HAHAHAHAHAHA.... it's the top of Europ, mo****...even if you get a bad *** hummer you can't go there by car.. OMG - I saw people climbing the Matterhorn with sneakers but I've never heard anybody asking for a car ride to the Jungfraujoch. even the Japanese wouldn't try to do that... therefore the asnwer is: TAKE THE TRAIN!

Not sure why zebu felt the need to be so insulting, but he's right, you can't drive up the Jungfraujoch. You can drive to Interlaken (which isn't actually anything to write home about) and up as far as Grindelwald or Lauterbrunnen but after that it's the train. (or walking)
The train is the only way to travel. A car is alright in some places, but not that area.
