Are the shops open in Lucerne, Switzerland on a Sunday?

Travel Tips
In the train station most are, so you can buy some food including chocolate of course and a couple other things.
Also the gift store at the Swiss Transport Museum is, they have a lot of cool stuff. Postcard stores and little kiosks in and around the touristy part of town (near the wooden bridges) are often open as well.

Otherwise no.

Oh and I don't know if this is just Zurich, but most stores are open two Sundays in December! Source(s): I live in Switzerland, we go to the Transport Museum a lot.
