Generally speaking, are shops open 7 days a week in Switzerland or do they close on the weekend?

Gernerally speaking they are open 6 days (closed on Sundays)
They also close early on Saturdays (like around 5/6 o'clock)
Villages or small towns, you may find shops open on Sundays, specially in the touristic ares like Zermatten, etc..
Restaurants, bakeries are ALWAYS open on Sundays.
