Where can I buy a swiss pass when I reached Zurich? |
Travel Info I wish to travel around Switzerland. Zurich is the first stop. Pls let me know if Swiss pass is available in Switzerland or do I need to get one before I fly there? Thanks. Travel Tips it is better to buy the Swiss Pass at the airport (it's in the separate building that houses the shops and trains). there is a ticket office on the lower level... there's not as many people there usually. if you wait and go to the Hauptbahnhof, you'd have to go to the special reservation office, and there's going to be more people, and they use a number system (meaning you'd have to wait). Swiss Pass will be the same price whether you buy it in the US or in Switzerland. Others You can buy it from any train station. There is one in the lower ground of the airport. Let me know if you need a hotel room as well. I have a voucher for 4 nights stay in a suite for 2P with half-board for a reasonable price. I live in ZH so I don't need to use it. Enjoy your stay here. They are available in Switzerland, but you may find that they're cheaper to buy before you leave. If you do decide to leave it until you arrive in Zurich, I'm sure you will be able to make the purchase at the airport. Not that I've ever been to Zurich, but on transferring landside at Geneva you walk straight in to a Tourist Desk, and I'd think it will be much the same at Zurich. You can not get one there, you have to get it before you go. |
