How to get to Mount Titlis in Engelberg from Lucerne??? |
Travel Info I know I can take train from Lucerne to Engelberg, but when I search it on http://www.sbb.ch/, it requires me to type the specific station in Engelberg, and I don't which one is correct. Also, after arriving at Engelberg, how to get to Mount Titlis? By the way, do I need to buy the ticket in advance? thanks so much Travel Tips The above answer is right ...I too visited sbb and it does show Engelberg as the station...you cud try once again.... Others you must be doing something wrong... when i put in Luzern and Engelberg in sbb.ch, there was only 1 train station at Engelberg. (there are direct intergio lines and others that require train + bus transfer). besides which, Engelberg is a pretty small town - can't imagine they need 2 stations. once you arrive, you just walk to the Titlis cable car station at the bottom of the mountain. no need to buy tickets in advance - that goes for both SBB and Titlis cable car tickets. buying it in person is just fine.
