If traveling with a passport do i need to take my drivers license on a trip from U.S. to Cancun? |
Travel Info Debating on whether or not to take my license with me. i don't want it to botch up my travel plans. My passport has my legal name as MJH and my license has my MBH the B being my maiden name i kept for banking purposes. the J being my middle name that matches my social security card. Can i travel with my SS Card and Passport and be ok? Travel Tips I would take both. When people ask for documentation in Mexico, sometimes they will hold it until things have cleared. I would much rather have them hold on to my license than my passport. Others Just went to Toluca, Mexico. If you want to rent a car in Mexico you are going to need your license. If the first and last names on your passport and drivers license match, you should be ok. from what i have heard, the authorities cut a little slack as far as middle names. |
