Travel Info Is it normal to be excited and 100% sure of yourself and then 10 seconds later be doubtful and terrified. Travel Tips yes. and it will also be normal to be excited during the first week or two you are there. and then you will feel like there's nothing excited about the new country, then you will feel frustrated and start to compare things with the previous place you were, and then you will start to hate it and want to come back., then you will get used to it. its a whole process that lasts a while. its called Cultural Shock and is inevitable. Try doing some research on the new place you are going to so is not sooo shocking. I guess. maybe you can start by wikipediaing what cultural shock is. That way you always have a quick return if you need. I think it is absolutely normal. Moved to Europe from the US, Germany specifically. I felt the same way. YES!!! With my dad being in the military, i have moved to and from europe somany times i have lost count and every time i go through what you are explaining. Yes, but eventually you will feel better specially if you are moving due to a job and you like it. Or if you have family or friends to support you even if they do so from far away and through the phone. Good luck and hope you have a blast!! |
