Is second class Eurail as bad as I've heard? |
Travel Info Im going to be in Europe for 2 months and planning on traveling mostly on a Eurail global pass, I've been told that second class can be a bad experiance. Is this true, and should i spend the extra $300 for First class? Travel Tips I did a backpacking trip through Europe 2 summers ago and had a Eurail pass, I don't remember the exact name but it allowed travel within a selected group of 6 or 7 countries. I found the experience to be completely fine. First class is obviously a little fancier and more roomy, but I didn't mind the 2nd class experience at all. I was not visiting during peak travel time however, it was late April through June. If you're going during peak tourism season maybe 1st class might be more worthwhile.
