Will anyone go to the USA with me for a road trip and star trek convention?

I want to go to FEDCON 2008 sci-fi convention (the first year of FEDCON in the USA, should be brilliant) but none of my friends will go with me - they assume star trek convention = dressing up and talking klingon. Well, I certainly wont be doing that! I just want to go to meet the stars and get autographs etc, plus make a road trip out of it, have some fun etc... Im not a geek, just want to go and have a good time but dont want to go by myself. If anyone is interested, let me know, exchange emails etc, msn and we will go from there. male or female I dont care (Im male, 22, from South England, just graduated)
