Travel Tips
One of the best ways to work abroad is to teach English as a Foreign Language ... this is a skill that is in demand the world over, and you can usually earn enough to savve up to get you to the next country.

Also, in countries like the US, where English teaching is not needed, perhaps you could live on your savings - it only costs $50 USD a day to get by in the US, travelling by bus, and staying in Hostels - or you can work in those summer camps for younger children as a counsellor.

I did that when I was younger, had the time of my life.

I have put some links below for you to check.

As for your costs, in Europe, I would suggets you need say 3 months to travel across it and it costs around 鈧?0 euros a day on average.

I would suggest you save up enough for your flights, insurance, and maybe 6 months hanging around on beaches...

Then once you've seen certain places where you won't work, you can get jobs teaching English in places like China, SE Asia etc to work your way back ...

You should also have a look at GapYear.com and get a copy of the Lonely Planet - Round The World, or Rough Guide First Time Around The World.

remember you have a few years yet, so I would study hard, and get in shape until you are 20 or 21 ...

Other Travel Tips
In 1989 I bought a round the world ticket for for around a thousand pounds. Today it is a similar price.
If you are fifteen you might like to consider training in a job that will allow you to travel, and make money at the same time.
The costs in each country will differ widely, and also depend on the level of comfort that you need. Why not try a three month trip first- see what's out there.
Good Luck.
