What is it like to live in a fairlyobscure country? |
Travel Info Being an American, I am curious.. Obscure to the rest of the world, I mean. If you have lived in a fairly unknown or small country then please share with me! Travel Tips I live in the U.S, but have live in other places in my life. Life is other places is a bit differ net. You make do with what you have aside from that like is normal. Not the type of normal you and I would consider normal, but normal to them For example I grew up in a small town in Mexico and it was rare for us to ride in a car, we walked and use the bus. In Texas, I can't imagine life without my car. The biggest difference that I have notice is that some who immigrates to the U.S. is more determined to make it that some who is born here. Don't misunderstand, I am not saying that (we) Americans are lazy, I am just saying that they have a different point of view. For example, I once heard of a person whom crossed the Canadian border while hiding in the wheel of and 18 wheeler. All he had was a with him was clean pair of pant and a t-shirt in a small case. He got out on the U.S. side near a parking lot and he saw an opportunity to make money by washing cars in the parking lot. He went on to become a respected business man. To really experience the world travel internationally, you world and your mind will open up more than you'd expect. |
