If a hotel room sleeps four people and the hotelier puts five people in it where doI stand on insurance terms. |
Travel Info My daughteris in paris at the moment on a school trip. She rang me to say that the room they had been given has one double bed and two singles, which means that the room is meant to sleep four but they have five people in it. Three girls are havingto share one double bed. I am sure this would void the insurance if anything happens like a theft. Travel Tips If this happened to my daughter l would be furious l would take this up with the school on their return and would ask for a refund on the money you have no doubt had to contribute to for this trip, and l hope the other girls parents do the same. l am not sure how you stand regarding the insurance part of it but if a theft did happen l am sure she would still be covered Others Do not worry about the insurance ask the school how much they are saving on the beds why is the hotel so over booked i think this is down to the hotel saving rooms Relax, They will provide an extra cot for the fifth person. :-}) I have a lot of years in Motel/Hotel management and auditing. I'm not sure about Paris, but here in the states, I NEVER allowed that. They would have to rent 2 rooms or I would get a cot for them. 3 Schoolgirls in 1 bed? OOOOHHHH Stop it! |
