I think they have an American site at expedia.com. If you're not picky about where you're going, you just want to go somewhere, try travelzoo.com. This site compares the prices of several travel sites to bring you the best price. Additionally, you can "name your own price" on Priceline! I have gotten some great deals on package deals (flight, hotel, and car) by naming the price I wanted to pay.
