Travel Info Why don't they let you take unexposed film (in or out of cameras) through security or even leave it in your checked bags at airports? Travel Tips There is no restriction against taking unexposed film through security or having it in checked bags. However, the x-ray equipment at checked baggage will damage it. I think it's to make traveling a bigger pain in the ... than it already is! i think the x-ray machine would ruin it apparently the x-ray machine can damage your film from what this web site has said. query.nytimes.com/gst/fullpage... I think x-ray machines have something to do w/ it. But also I think it's just another homeland security measure. |
