What does "4 bed ensuite" mean?

Travel Info
i am looking up rates for hostels and the lowest price is for "4 bed ensuite"... i think ensuite has to do with a bathroom... but since this is the cheapest, would it mean i am sharing a room with three other people? fine by me... i just want to know what it means...

Travel Tips
Exactly. "ensuite" usually means a bathroom in the room, sometimes a kitchen too, and the 4 bed means there's four beds, probably two bunk beds if it's a hostile
Others
Yes, 4 beds in one room, with an adjoining bathroom.
You are right. It means that there are four beds per room. Usually the restroom/bathroom is "down the hall". It is always a concern about how to protect your belongings while you are out of the room, or sound asleep, but it is certainly a popular way to travel on a budget.

I also know that sometimes the www will state "co-ed", to let you know a bit more of what to expect. In Amsterdam they are extremely popular, and those that I meet who are staying at a Hostel seem to really be enjoying themselves more than us "single" room types.
