I am canadian.....?

and my husband and I want to go on vacation in the winter. We've been to the Dominican Republic and now wonder where is a good place to go. We want to go to mexico but with all the things happening to canadians in mexico where not sure if it's safe. would you go ? I guess we can go anywhere else thats warm and tropical.

Go to Brazil
Florida is still good. Sanibel Island and Marco Island have nice beaches and are not too crowded.
If you want something more international, try Miami Beach. I call it the best foreign destination in the U.S.
anywhere on the southeast gulf coast from new orleans to mobile al would be a nice change of pace.
