Going on vacation, and I need some tips!?

Heading down to the Paradisus resort in the Caribbean, and I could use some tips on how to turn this vacation into a real life fantasy vacation!

Easy, simple tips to turn this vacation into a fantasy trip to remember for a lifetime would be awesome. Thanks so much!

Travel Tips
Because you wrote Caribbean, I'll assume you mean either Dominican Republic or Puerto Rico although there are other Pardisus resorts (Cancun, Costa Rica).

If you aren't certified to dive, get certified while on holiday - it will take up some money and time but it's an incredible, unique experience. Priceless!

Take a sailing/snorkel day trip, if the weather is clear. Try windsurfing right at the resort. A horseback ride and kayak tour are 2 other activities to enjoy.

If you are going to Puerto Rico, go to the waterfalls, for adventure try Aventuras Tierra Adentro (http://www.aventuraspr.com), walk around Old San Juan, visit El Morro (Castillo de San Felipe del Morro).

If you are going to DR, go to Cabarate for some wicked kite surfing, horseback to see waterfalls, take a catamaran trip to Isla Saona, take a day trip to Concepcion de la Vega (Where Columbus built a fort), if the day is clear take a cable car up Mount Isabel de Torres. Other Travel Tips
Hey Chris...I'll give you one tip....take advantage of the food! It's not everyday that you are at the Caribbean...try out different resteraunts, etc. Enjoy it...but dont go too crazy...just enjoy your time there. I hope you have fun man.
