What I Need if I want to Open a Guesthouse? |
Travel Info I Have a Beautiful House in Newcastle which is just 5 min from the Beach. I鈥檓 almost not Home and the House could be a nice Place for Tourists. Do I need a Special Certification or something Like that if I want to open a Guesthouse? Travel Tips up to six bedrooms no after that you need fire regs all en-suite rooms, council tax needs to be informed as its a business rates are much higher. only 2 storey for guests, a guest house is a place of comfort ie you will need a waiter chef housemaid. if its a b&b someone to make breakfasts and cleaning of rooms etc this means if you are not there you need a manager to run your house, hotel is a different kettle of fish. not forgetting you are at their beck and call and there are some real obnoxious b$rstards about, I have a victorian B & B in Wales that my wife runs. the hotel I run in Egypt does no have any regulations, only the ones I set up which the authourities as such are happy about.
