Travel Info What was your best European vacation experience and why? Travel Tips My favorite vacation experience was living in Europe, having my parents visit Europe for the first time and taking them on a short tour of the highlights. They flew into Germany and after we showed them where we were living, we flew to Paris, stayed for four or 5 days and then took a train south to Spain. We visited San Sebastian, Barcelona, Sevilla and Madrid. From there, we flew to Italy and took trains visiting Rome, Cinque Terra, Florence and Venice. Then we took trains through the Swiss and Austrian Alps, working our way back to Germany. The reasons it was the best were that 1) our family was together 2) We were in beautiful parts of europe 3) we together knew enough of each language to make our way around with no problems 4) we met wonderful people 5) we ate great food 6) we traveled in the spring when europe wasn't as crowded or as expensive as in the summer 7) we have memories and photos to last a lifetime Others Poland, but thats because I have family over there. After coming from a party (=very drunk) we hitchiked to Paris :) Paris by night... it was very beautiful. we met some great people and almost fell asleep under the Eiffel tower. Got lost on our way to the hotel and asked directions to a beautiful English girl who showed us the way. Crashed in the hotel and took the next train back home (Belgium) the other day. Went for some great coffee because we had to wait for our train and missed two trains lol. |
