Travel Info What is a good beautiful beach area in the Florida panhandle? Travel Tips Destin Others Amelia Island Destin/Fort Walton Beach is absolutely beautiful, but it is pricey to stay there. Also Panama City if you want to have a lot of stuff to do-but it is always crowded/touristy. St George Island is sometimes less crowded, but you would have to drive a little ways for restaraunts and stuff. Destin Destin Florida is pretty,but is over developed. If you want a beach that you can actually get to, go to Grayton Beach or Blue Mountain. It's a little pricey too, but well worth it. I use to live in Fort Walton for years and it's a shame of what's happened with all the over development and what the past years of the hurricanes. It won't be too long before it will just turn into a causeway. |
