What can/can't I carry on?

Travel Info
Can I take normal-size toiletries as long as I check them and don't carry them on? And can I take a bottle of water on the plane if I buy it in a gift shop once I pass through security...thanks for any answers, I don't want to be the guy hholding up the line at the airport

Travel Tips
You can probably carryon water you bought at the airport after you go through security. Some airports have a second security screening at the gate, and you may not be able to take it past there.

The rules are intended to prevent anyone from bringing weapons (or potential weapons) on board an aircraft. Things like guns, knives, and explosives are obvious.

The most recent big change is the rule prohibiting liquids and gels in containers that hold (or can hold) more than 3 ounces (about 90ml). Travel sizes for things like shampoo and toothpaste are OK.

Pack other liquids & gels and anything that even MIGHT be considered a weapon in a checked bag. That includes nail files, scissors, and similar items.

It is not as much of a problem as many make it out to be.
Others
For liquid not more than 250 grammes & place on see through plastic bags. Better still, dont take them in. Drinks r served, so why the bother. Plane may even take off with u or others may curse u 4 delaying the flight
