Passport Problems?

I applied for me and my fiance's passport March 3rd and we still haven't gotten them! today is Tuesday and we need them by friday or we lose ALL the money on our honeymoon (which is thousands) Did anybody wait as long as me and never receive them? or does anybody know anything I could do? I've been calling and they said they have a date in there to be mailed to me by Thursday but she said it's not 100% and that I should probably have it expedited. I mean it's been 12 1/2 weeks- How long should it take? I had already went to the site for about 6 weeks and it just tells me it's being processed and when I call they tell me that it's in the system and it was reviewed but they haven't processed it yet.

I see you posted your question again...but i don't think there is anything else you can do if you have already checked with the National Passport Information Center. Could you call your travel agent or cruise line and see if they could help you reschedule your trip for a week or so later? Beg, plead, ask to speak to a supervisor...anything. I hate to see your honeymoon ruined or for you to lose your money. I put a link to an emergency passport service below. They told me that it is taking 11 weeks, and that was two weeks ago. I had mine expedited (my son's actually). It took less than two weeks. They said five.
