How much spending money would myself and my boyfriend need for a week in Bulgaria? And has anyone any info on where to go, what to do, ect? We're going the end of June.

Just came back yesterday and loved it. This is our 2nd year and looks like next year will be the same trip.
Well it would depened really. The shopping is good. Jewellery, handbags, clothes, and great shoes. Food and drink are cheap and food quality is great. We changed our money over there from Euro to Lev and spent about 600 lev I suppose.
As for things to do we didn't do a lot to be honest. Walked the beach quite a lot and a trip to Nessebar is a must. A nice quaint little town with shops and stalls. There are quite a few trips organised by the reps and they say a trip to Khan's tent is a must. Kind of cabaret night with four course meal.
You can do a trip into the mountains and also a cruise.

On a daily basis you should only be spending under 拢15 between you for food, it really is cheap. Travel is also dirt cheap and you can go from Sophia to Bourgas on the train for a fiver! Sozopol is beautiful where you can see the National Revival houses and some cracking art galleries. Bourgas has a lovely cafe culture. Veliko Turnova (incorrect spelling,apols) is extra special tho, see the old and new town the suspension bridge, the magnificent castle walls+ museums, great for exploring+photography. Please check out the lonely planet website for accuracy and ideas, they have different maps for specialised tourist routes of interest.Make sure you get a phrase book for their Cyrillic alphabet as its a very traditional country with not alot of English in some parts.You will love the country+culture!
