Travel Info Does anyone no much about Malta? Like best places to go and things to do....? Travel Tips Hey I was just in Malta two weeks ago! Ok best things to do depends on what you like: Beaches- Malta is mostly made of rocky beaches, but there was a great sandy beach on the northwest part of the island called Melliha Bay. I'd recommend taking a sailling cruise to the blue lagoon during a weekday. It's just off the island of Comino, which is a short ride from Malta, and the water there is gorgeous! History- Must see Valetta, Mosta, Rabat, and Mdina. Rabat & Mdina are home to St. Paul's Catacombs and some lovely churches. Valetta has Fort St. Elmo, a war museum, and the only Anglican Church on Malta. Fun- Go to the travel agents and book some activities. The Sicily day trip to Mt Etna is awesome!! I'd also recommend a scuba dive and a sailing trip. If you're looking for clubs then go to a place called St. Julians. At night they have a long strip of clubs with a variety of music to dance the night away. Tips- Use the buses! They're amazingly cheap and will get you anywhere on the island. If you're taking a taxi, ask how much the price is first and come to an agreement on the price before you go anywhere! The taxi drivers will screw you over at night. In St. Julians there is a restaurant called Paparazzi. It had the best pasta I've ever tasted and the menu is really amusing. It has an outdoor patio that overlooks the bay so I'd sit outside if you can. Also try the Cisk Lager, it's the best beer I've honestly tasted and it's dirt cheap. Source(s): I was just in Malta. Other Travel Tips Beach beach beach~!!! I visited Malta in April and just loved it. Malta is a small island so you really see almost all of Malta by just taking a bus or two.The capital Valletta is a "must" and take a sea cruise. From Malta you can take a boat to Sicily in Italy and come back the same day. All the beaches are not really that good. The people are friendly in a polite way and almost all speak English, it麓s the natives麓 language besides Maltese. I can really recommend Malta to you. there is so much to do over there. you should check out the city of Valetta, Paceville..even go to the other small islands of Gozo and Comino. During the Summer, there are beautiful feasts you can check out every single weekend at night. during the day, check out the nice beaches like Hondoq, Ramla, Marsalforn, and many others. check out the sites i provided you with. :) hope i was of help www.gozo.com www.searchmalta.com |
