What's the best way to exchange money? |
Travel Info Hi all. I need to exchange UK pounds to Euros. I have been watching the exchange rate which today is about 1.47 Euros for your pound. So, I was going to go to the post office and exchange as they don't charge comission. However their exchange rate seems less at only 1.40 Euros to the pound. And this seems to be the case most days. I know it's not a huge amount of money, but want to get the best for my spending money! Many thanks. Travel Tips Some places that charge a comission appear to have better prices but you get less after the comission. Go ahead and go to the post office. Others Give it to me - I will give you a great exchange rate - for every 拢1 you give me, I will give you a penny post office everytime! Hi I have just checked the exchange rate at a few places and the euro and it's 1.40 I always exchange my UK pounds at Marks & Spencers at the moment there exchange rate is 1.41 also there is no charge for commission Tina Would like to know where you saw the euro at 1.47...please Have a nice holiday Tina PS Marks & Spencers euro is always higer than the Post Office got to be post office no charge from my experience Marks and Spencers is usually the best by a long way. Shop around, write down the rates you see so you don't forget, and i suspect you will reach the M&S conclusion. have a good trip |
