I am thinking of relocating to myrtle beach area. What should I know? |
Travel Info I have been thinking of moving south for years now, and I like the climate in S. Carolina. I would love to hear from middle age men & women who live in the area. Travel Tips It is fun living here. The ocean is magnificent and keeps the weather fairly nice. Usually 60's in the winter and 80's in the summer. There are plenty of things to do. Just understand that this is a tourist town. Wages are low and cost of living is high. In the summer, the main streets are congested so learn the back-way around town. You also need to tolerate the numerous "bike weeks" they have in the spring and fall. And if you want to do the "touristy" kinds of things, wait until the off-season when the crowds are small and the prices are down. Others How to spot a meth lab. Well, I am not middle age but I have been to Myrtle Beach, SC twice and I loved it. From what I could see, the work industry is limited. haha welcome to the never ending sand battle.... sand gets in, on... in between EVERYTHING. |
