Travel Info Pack up and leave??? Shall i do it, how shall i do it!?? I feel trapped in my everyday mundane 9-5 life, same old sh!t, different day. Whilst im still young (20), not tied down and free, shall i pack up, leave and travel? how do i go about it? x Thanks for all answers. Travel Tips Yes!!! I'm about to do the same thing. I went into my local branch and found them very helpful Source(s): Own experience Other Travel Tips ok, heres what i did. i flew to spain, found a job, went to italy austria germany and greece and after 18 months i wanted to see my family. so i went back home but i couldnt get over the post holiday blues. i walked out of my temp job, put my thumb out and hitch hiked to italy, (from the uk) with 100pound in my pocket, jumped on a boat back to greece, took another job. ive been away for 4 years in total now without a bank account, credit card or health insurance. ive been all over europe and turkey, but usually i hitch hike. my goal is to go all round the world this way, but the further east i cam the harder it is to find work. but i keep on going, and i busk for money. so, if u want to do it like me, u need courage and the willpower to live on the edge with nothing. can u do that? can u put ur hand out to beg if nessacary? (i did once but never again). do u have what it takes to walk for miles with a backpack on ur back whilst looking for a job? ok, u pass, welcome to the backpackers world, maybe i will see u in some exotic country or somewhere :) what im trying to say is, get up and do it. its great (but not always), its fun (but sometimes sad) but u meet so many people and this is never boring. u will see some am枚azing things on ur way, enjoy :) Assuming you have money- get yourself a backpack, a sleeping bag, and a round the world flight. Life will never seem the same again. Good Luck i would pick a place to go first then look into accommodation then make sure i have enough cash to keep me going for a month or so maybe look into one of them Europe train passes good luck. Yep!!! Go 4 it it, theres a whole world out there!! Im about to do the same...bye London! Its too damn cold here & boring , plus ive lived here for 26yrs!! So it really is time for change...plus i have travelled a bit, so know how brilliant it is to see all the other countries that actually have a culture that can be embraced! ...do it do it do it! **** this ****! :) Do it. I did! You can stay as a tourist in most countries for about 30 days so just jump on a plane and see what happens. |
