Free travel? I don't get it...? |
Travel Info So I got a phone call earlier that basically told me that if I visited Lake Brownwood (i guess that's here in TX) and took a 90 minute tour, that they would give a $75 gift card, $1,000 Visa card for spending and a trip to Vegas (3 nights) for two. I would have to pay $75/person and that would be it. Can anyone tell me what is going on here? This sounds too good to be true and, usually, it is. What's the gimmick? Travel Tips Looks like a scam to me. Why on earth would you have to pay if it's "free" ? Others there may be some truth to it. it sounds like a typical time-share venture. they want you to come to listen to a spill about investing into a time share. usually they want couples. if you can stand the vulture or car salesman attitude about sales, go and enjoy it. they will hound you every chance to buy the time share. some people go just for the free trip. do more homework on the company. avid traveler Most likely a scam DONT USE THE SERVICE! Police explorer me either they say free until you get them on the phone then its something else regardless you still have to come off some money nothing is free Stay away from anything that asks for you to spend money! If they give you the stuff free and clear and you give them your time of going to Lake Brownwood and taking the 90 minute tour is one thing, but no $75/person. |
