Where do you live? Since you only have a week, distance matters.

If you're in the U.S., take a road trip and visit a National Park! (My favorite is Glacier NP in Montana.) If you go camping your expenses will be quite low, except for the price of gas, of course!

It's sunny (25 degrees C ++), we have beautiful beaches on the warm Indian ocean, International film festival starts this week, Durban fashion week this month, great party with beautiful ppl at Durban july (horse racing event of the year), Big surf competitions this month with rock concerts on the beach, Biggest sardine run in the world on at the moment: Sharks and dolphins and whales to be seen off-shore.
Ps: home of the Zulu tribe whose tradition it is for young women to go bare-breasted.
