Is there a number you can call to see local roadway conditions? |
Travel Info Who should I call to find out which roads are closed due to weather conditions? I could not find anything online with the up to date information I needed and I need detailed local information. There has been extensive flooding and I needed to know which roads are open. I would hate to call the police at this moment as they are very busy. Any suggestions? Travel Tips Try the DMV website for your state. AAA might help as wellYes. Don't know about a phone number for your local area but you can always try the website of the Highway Department for the state you live in. They should have listings of roads by area. Yes AAA, also the State Police have a hot line for read conditions, in some areas along the highway if you look will have radio station that broadcast road condition ahead,,,,, Hi, Your local TV or Radio stations should have that information . I have mine posted on my home page and it is updated all the time.There should be some thing available to you through your state or local agency`s.Aim sure if you do some searches,you will find what you what,keep at it.Good Luck |
