Old european currency? |
Travel Info whilst cleaning out some drawers i have found some small amounts of pre-euro french, german and spanish currency. Is there a charity or association who can use this - it seems a shame just to bin it. Travel Tips I know British AIrways are always collecting any old coins. Guess you will have to take a flight somewhere and give them your change, unless ofcourse you have a unicef branch you know near by, sure they will be happy to accept it. Other Travel Tips As for germany, it can still be exchanged for Euros : "The Bundesbank's euro for DM exchange guarantee covers an unlimited amount of cash and runs for an indefinite period. " http://www.bundesbank.de/bargeld/bargeld... It's probably not worth doing so if its only a small amount. |
