When is the best time to go to borneo?

Im thinking of going to Borneo (indo not the malaysian part) with a friend and we are just trying to plan the best time to go! The internet is confusing, has anyone been?? Do you have any tips??

I have been to Java and my close family members have been to Borneo. February (and months around it) seems to be the best, with least rainfall and most bearable temperatures. Other times of the year it is much hotter and wetter.
